Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Pakistan and Afghanistan remain engaged through various channels to discuss issues of concern between both countries and that Islamabad hopes any positive "reports of action against TTP (by the Islamic Emirate)" will result in a reduction of "terrorist incidents" in Pakistan.

Baloch claimed that Islamabad has "concerns that terrorist incidents in recent months have links with terrorist elements which are based in Afghanistan."

"We have also intelligence that many of these terrorist networks have links with some individuals staying illegally in Pakistan," she claimed, saying that Islamabad’s decision to "repatriate people who are in violation of our immigration laws is a decision irrespective of any nationality."

The Islamic Emirate meanwhile said that it will take actions against the TTP if Pakistan provides it with the evidence about the presence of the group’s fighters in Afghanistan.

"The Islamic Emirate first of all denies the threat from Afghan soil to Pakistan. Secondly, we will investigate if there are any such details," said Zabiullah Mujahid, Islamic Emirate’s Spokesman.

This comes as analysts recommend Islamabad take steps for positive relations with Kabul instead of provoking allegations towards Afghanistan.

"Pakistan has always made useless allegations. It cannot provide any kind of details," said Mohammad Matin Mohammad Khail, military analyst.

"To remove these concerns, Afghanistan and Pakistan should open an information center, so they can share their intelligence information," said Sadiq Shinwari, military analyst.

Pakistani officials have claimed that Afghan soil is used against their soil. However, the Islamic Emirate said the rise of insecurity in Pakistan is the failure of its government to provide proper security in its country.
