Afghanistan batters hardly managed to score only 134 runs in 47/1 overs and set the target of 135 to the opposition.

Abdul Hadi with his 37 of 97 balls was the highest scorer followed by 30 of 33 balls by Noor Ahmad.

In the bowling, Afghanistan did not allow the Sri Lankans to stretch their muscles and reach the target.

Afghanistan U19s with their sensational bowling and fielding defended the total and won the match by four runs.

Bilal Sami, the pacer from Afghanistan took the early breakthrough and dismissed two Sri Lankan batsmen while Noor Ahmad, Naveed Zadran, Isharulhaq Naveed, and Nangyalai Kharotai took one wicket each.

The Fielding of the Afghan players was even better with four Sri Lankans getting run out.
