Djokovic who dropped the first set 6-3 against Nadal, paid him with the same coin in the second to level the match at 1 set apiece. The superstars played one of the best sets in years, featuring 4 service breaks and 14 break-points, with the Serbian battling through an intense tie-break to take a 2-sets-to-1 lead.

The Serbian ace paced it up in the 4th, breaking the king of clay 3 times to hand the Spaniard his 3rd defeat in 16 years and 108 matches at the French Open.
