Manchester City’s title win has been delayed after suffering a 2-1 defeat against Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium.

The Sky Blues broke the deadlock in the 44th minute when Raheem Sterling tapped the ball home, following a defensive mistake.

But the hosts lost the momentum after out-going striker Sergio Aguero missed a Panenka before the break.

The London Blues scored the equalizer when Hakim Ziyech netted the ball with a precise shot from the edge of the box in the 63rd minute.

Then, Marcos Alonso grabbed a stoppage-time winner for Chelsea to delay Man City’s coronation.

Pep Guardiola’s side now needs 3 points to clinch a 3rd Premier League title in 4 years, while Chelsea leapfrogged Leicester into 3rd place. The two sides will meet again in the Champions League final on the 29th of May.
