Israeli warplanes have conducted a new wave of aggression across southern Lebanon and the eastern Bekaa Valley, killing at least two people and injuring others, Lebanese authorities reported.

The multiple airstrikes were carried out on Sunday night. The Lebanese health ministry and media reports identified the fatalities as including a Hezbollah artillery commander in one strike and another operative.

Strikes hit areas such as near Khirbet in the Bint Jbeil district, Derdghaya east of Tyre, Arzoun village, Bazouriye near Tyre, Bouslaiya, Aita al-Shaab, and the outskirts of Nabi Chit in the Bekaa Valley.

The new aggression marks another in a pattern of near-daily Israeli airstrikes and drone attacks since the November 2024 ceasefire. The regime has killed at least 435 people in Lebanon, according to the health ministry.

The ceasefire took effect on November 27. Under the deal, Tel Aviv was required to withdraw fully from Lebanese territory-but has kept forces stationed at five sites in clear violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701 and the terms of the November 2024 agreement.

Lebanese authorities have warned that the regime`s violations of the ceasefire threaten national stability.
