Unidentified Aircraft Patrols the Skies Over Kapisa Province

News sources have reported the patrol of an unidentified aircraft over Afghanistan`s Kapisa Province on the night of Saturday.

According to AnsarPress, the aircraft was seen flying around 8:10 p.m. over the Hesa-1 and Hesa-2 districts of Kohistan in Kapisa, at a relatively low altitude.

No further details have been released regarding the identity, flight path, or purpose of the aircraft. The incident has raised questions, particularly given that Afghanistan`s airspace is officially under Taliban control, about the motives and possible actors behind the operation.

The Taliban have also confirmed the presence of this aircraft, admitting that the group does not have full control over Afghanistan`s airspace. Similar aerial patrols-often involving unmanned drones-have previously been reported in other parts of the country, fueling concerns about the security and sovereignty of Afghan airspace.

The appearance of unidentified aircraft, especially in strategically significant regions like Kapisa, could point to underlying instability and international security rivalries. The matter becomes even more sensitive given that the Taliban currently manage the country`s airspace, and any unauthorized flight may signal foreign infiltration or interventionist activities by states seeking influence over Afghanistan`s internal affairs.
