In a land where war never ends and darkness has cast its shadow over daily life, thousands of Afghan children, girls, and women are trapped in an unending nightmare - one named trafficking and sexual exploitation.

According to AnsarPress News Agency, these crimes persist under an atmosphere of fear and repression. The voices of victims are silenced behind closed doors, as the terror prevailing across Afghanistan prevents them and their families from speaking out about the atrocities they face.

Reports from multiple provinces indicate that human trafficking networks operating under Taliban control have become organized and widespread. Their victims are primarily young boys, girls, and impoverished women without protection or support. These crimes often occur through deception and false promises of a better life, employment, or marriage - and at times through sheer force and intimidation.

A source in Kabul told AnsarPress:

"Many families, driven by poverty and the lack of education or income, are forced to hand over their children. They have no idea what fate awaits them."

According to international organizations, thousands of Afghan women and children fall victim to these trafficking rings each year. Yet these numbers represent only a fraction of the crisis the Taliban are desperately trying to conceal from the world.

Statistics and reports from Taliban-controlled Afghanistan show that sexual abuse of both boys and girls has become a severe and systemic issue. These crimes continue with chilling calm amid the suppression of the media and the prohibition of human rights organizations.

One victim, who asked to remain anonymous, said:

«Every night I relive that moment - the moment they forced me to stay silent. My voice was never heard.»

The situation has become so dire that videos showing Taliban members assaulting or deceiving women have begun circulating on social media platforms.

By restricting access to education, the economy, and justice, the Taliban have created fertile ground for human trafficking and exploitation. The ban on girls` schools, along with the persecution of journalists and civil organizations, forms part of a deliberate policy designed to silence victims and conceal one of Afghanistan`s deepest human tragedies.
