The president made the remark after blaming the Biden administration for allegedly letting millions of murderers, drug dealers and "a lot of bad people" come into the U.S.

US President Donald Trump blamed the Biden administration for allegedly letting millions of murderers, drug dealers and "a lot of bad people" come into the U.S. before veering off on a tangent about his love for a notorious biker gang during a press briefing at the White House on Tuesday.

While touting his sweeping immigration crackdown, Trump bragged about stemming the tide of illegal immigration across the southern border and claimed that for the first time in 50 years, the U.S. was experiencing "reverse migration."

"We have a big process for having people come in legally, by the way. A lot of people are coming in legally," Trump said. "They have to prove they love our country. They have to prove that they`re not going to need welfare. A lot of things they have to prove."

Trump accused immigrants of being "criminals" in "many, many cases."

"You remember when they used to say that the people that come into our country as immigrants are very nice people, they`re wonderful people, and they don`t commit crime?" he asked. "No, they make our criminals look like babies."

Trump also alleged that immigrants make members of the Hells Angels biker gang "look like the sweetest people on Earth."

"The Hell`s Angels are now considered a nice, high-quality person," he said.

Trump then explained that he likes the Hells Angels - because they voted for him.

"They protected me, actually, believe it or not," he said.

The DOJ has identified the Hells Angels gang as an "outlaw motorcycle gang" that has committed murder and manufactured and distributed drugs such as methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin and marijuana in the U.S., among other criminal activities.
