At least four Palestinians have been killed and several others were injured in a wave of Israeli attacks on Gaza, according to the territory`s hospitals, marking the latest breach of the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Tel Aviv regime that came into effect last month.

The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that among the fatalities was a man killed by artillery shelling in the Shuja`iyya area near the Green Line in the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.

Another victim, identified as Alaa Mazen Abu Rida, was killed by Israeli drone fire in the Armida area east of Khan Younis. Two people were injured in the same strike as well.

Moreover, a Palestinian man died when an Israeli unmanned aerial vehicle struck the town of Bani Suheila, east of the southern city of Khan Younis, in an area beyond the so-called "yellow line."

The yellow line is a temporary demarcation boundary inside the Gaza Strip to which Israeli forces agreed to withdraw as part of the first phase of the truce deal. The areas beyond the line are under Israeli military control.

There are reports that Israeli forces are striking multiple locations in Gaza despite the ceasefire agreement.

In northern Gaza, Israeli air raids and artillery shelling hit Beit Lahiya beyond the yellow line.

In the south, Israeli air attacks and fire from tanks and helicopters were reported northeast of Rafah City, as well as air attacks and artillery shelling beyond the yellow line to the south and east of Khan Younis.

Local sources said Israeli drones are hovering extensively over Gaza City from the early hours of the morning.

The Gaza Government Media Office says the Israeli military has violated the Gaza ceasefire agreement at least 497 times in 44 days, killing hundreds of Palestinians and injuring many more ever since the truce took effect on October 10.

A statement released on Saturday revealed that 342 civilians have lost their lives and 875 others have sustained injuries in the attacks, with the majority of the victims being children, women, and the elderly.

Over the genocidal Gaza war, which began in October 2023, Israel has killed at least 69,756 people, most of them women and children, and injured 170,946 others.
