Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a detailed response to President Donald Trump`s new 28-point peace plan for Ukraine, calling the proposal "modernized" but stressing that its details still require discussion. Putin said Russia has the text of Trump`s plan, though the U.S. has not discussed it with Moscow directly because Kyiv opposes negotiations.

Putin warned that neither Ukraine nor Europe fully understands the consequences of the current battlefield situation, noting that Kupyansk was already nearly under full Russian control as early as November 4. He added that similar events will "repeat" if Kyiv refuses dialogue.
According to Putin, Russia remains ready for peace talks, but the U.S. has so far been unable to secure Ukraine`s consent to discuss a settlement.
