Israeli occupation forces have killed and injured more Palestinian civilians in new airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, in a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement with Hamas.

At least fifteen Palestinian civilians, including children, were injured, one critically, in an Israeli drone strike in the Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City on Monday night.

The casualties came after a drone targeted a gathering of displaced people near Gaza City`s Asad As-Saftawi school with bullets and bombs.

Two Palestinian civilians were killed when Israeli forces targeted them in the Shuja`iyya neighborhood of the city.

The death toll from the Israeli genocide since October 2023 is near 69,490, with more than 170,70 others injured.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has warned that hundreds of thousands of displaced people face their third winter in Gaza without basics in worn-out tents.

It added that over 13,000 displaced families living in makeshift shelters or tents have been affected by flooding.

Hamas and Israel agreed last month to the US-brokered Gaza ceasefire, aimed at ending the latter`s two-year-long genocidal war against Palestinians in the besieged territory.

The truce took effect on October 10, but Israel has continued to violate it by carrying out airstrikes, incursions, shootings, and arrests.

The deal marks the first phase of US President Donald Trump`s 20-point Gaza ceasefire plan, with further stages to be negotiated at a later date.
