The Taliban`s Ministry of Defense has announced that, in response to what it described as the "repeated violations" of Afghanistan`s airspace by the Pakistani military, the group carried out a successful retaliatory operation targeting Pakistani security installations along the Durand Line. The ministry warned that any future aggression would be met with an even stronger response.

According to AnsarPress, the Taliban`s Ministry of Defense stated that the operation was launched in retaliation for Pakistan`s repeated air incursions and airstrikes inside Afghan territory.

In a statement released on Saturday night, October 11, the ministry confirmed that the operation concluded at midnight, declaring it a success. The statement emphasized that if Afghanistan`s sovereignty is violated again, the Taliban are fully prepared to defend the country and will deliver a decisive and forceful response.
Both sides have claimed to have inflicted heavy casualties on each other, though no verified figures or independent reports have been released so far.

Meanwhile, Pakistan`s Ministry of Interior issued its own statement, warning:
"Afghanistan, like India, will receive a fitting response and will not dare to cast an evil eye toward Pakistan."

The latest confrontation marks a new peak in tensions between Kabul and Islamabad, following Pakistan`s airstrike on Kabul earlier in the week-an attack reportedly aimed at Noor Wali Mehsud, the leader of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). The Taliban`s retaliatory actions now underscore the rapidly escalating conflict and the fragility of security along the Afghan-Pakistani border.
