587 New Cases of COVID19, 30 Deaths Reported in Afghanistan

The Ministry of Public Health on Monday reported 587 new positive cases of COVID-19 out of 2,642 samples tested in the last 24 hours.

The ministry also reported 30 deaths and 945 recoveries from COVID-19 in the same period. The figures show a slight decrease in the daily COVID-19 cases in the last week.

Data by the ministry shows that the total number of cases is 148,572 and the total number of reported deaths is 6,804.

The total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 globally is 198,392,556 and the total deaths is 4,225,602, according to Johns Hopkins University.
