There is a sudden surge of coronavirus patients in Pakistan. There are over 900 people who have tested positive. The government has undertaken security measures to force people to stay indoor to avert further spread of the deadly virus.

The streets of much of Pakistans urban centers are deserted. The government called out army to place lockdown in an effort to force people to stay indoor over sudden surge of deadly coronavirus cases. Over 900 people have tested positive.

Pakistans rural areas which make up much of the population, are still largely without security lockdown given the lack of resources and manpower. What is more worrying is that not everyone in Pakistan is taking the warning from the government about the deadly virus, so serious.

Prime Minister Imran Khans government has been under fire for delaying to enforce lockdown and mishandling coronavirus suspected patients returning from abroad. Local media report that Pakistanis returning from abroad were resided together in congested makeshift buildings. And they were not properly quarantined right in the beginning, something which now has led to the spread of virus at a mega scale.
