US President Trump on Sunday said that Super Bowl LX`s halftime show featuring Bad Bunny was "one of the worst."

The "Dákiti" rapper, who is from Puerto Rico, is known for his Spanish-language music and albums. But his performance, which was in Spanish, on Sunday night drew the ire of Trump.

"The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn`t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence. Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World. This "Show" is just a "slap in the face" to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day - including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History! There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show and watch, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media, because they haven`t got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD - And, by the way, the NFL should immediately replace its ridiculous new Kickoff Rule. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! President DONALD J. TRUMP," he said in a post on his Truth Social platform.

Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, who makes music under the name Bad Bunny, performed at Super Bowl LX soon after taking home a Grammy award last week for album of the year for his album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS. Bad Bunny was the most streamed artist on Spotify, the music streaming service, in 2025. According to Spotify, he`s also the most-streamed artist on listeners` "Wrapped" playlists for the past four years.

It was announced earlier that Turning Point USA would host an alternate halftime show for people who did not want to tune in for the Bad Bunny performance. That show was set to feature Kid Rock, a Trump ally, as the performer.

"The All-American Halftime Show," will celebrate "American faith, family, and freedom," the organization, founded by the late activist Charlie Kirk, said last week.

Ultimately, Super Bowl LX ended with the Seattle Seahawks as champions, besting the New England Patriots 29-13.
