Reports from across Iran indicate that several days after the initial protests - and following the involvement of former U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli leaders in attempting to turn the protests into riots and security unrest - street activity nationwide has declined over the past two to three days, with the situation moving toward full calm.

The level of riots and gatherings has dropped to less than one-third of what it was in the early days. In the limited and scattered gatherings that have taken place, the presence of very small, non-popular, trained, and violent cells has been clearly evident.

With the situation in the Iran trending toward full calm, U.S. officials and some leaders of the Zionist regime have, over the past 48 hours, attempted to prevent the decline of unrest through media actions and psychological warfare. As a result, statements by the Trump administration and Israeli officials have increased significantly during this period.

The involvement of U.S. senators and certain leaders of the Israel regime, including Benjamin Netanyahu, is among these efforts.

Despite the arming of some rioters by foreign actors, the project of manufacturing casualties has failed over the past one to two days. The lack of public support for these groups has played a crucial role in the de-escalation of events.

As of last night, 568 police officers and 66 members of the Basij forces have been injured by the actions of rioters. The considerable restraint shown by police forces in separating ordinary citizens from rioters has, in some cases, resulted in injuries to the officers themselves. Among the injured security personnel, two were wounded by live ammunition, 152 by shotgun pellets, and 11 by knives.

Gathering in the Tehran Bazaar Area

Due to the presence of pedestrians and the congestion in the area, it was not possible to accurately distinguish passersby from protesters in order to estimate the crowd size. However, approximately 150 individuals chanted slogans on Naser Khosrow Street in Tehran`s bazaar area. With the arrival of police forces, the gathering was dispersed and participants scattered into nearby alleys.

A small gathering of bazaar merchants on Saadi Street, Lalehzar, and in the blacksmiths` bazaar in Tehran also ended without spreading further following the presence of police forces.

From noon today, Tehran time, the 15 Khordad corridor, the gold bazaar, and Naser Khosrow Street in the Grand Bazaar of Tehran were closed in protest against rising foreign currency prices and price instability.

In addition, most shops along Khayyam Street, Globandak Square, Lalehzar, Bagh-e Sepahsalar, and Hasan Abad were closed today and did not operate.

Report on Today`s Unrest in Ilam Province

Following the funeral procession of two individuals killed during Saturday`s unrest in Malekshahi, a group of mourners entered the city and created disturbances.

The funeral ceremony for the two individuals killed in Saturday`s unrest in Malekshahi was held this afternoon at around 3:00 p.m.

During the ceremony, some participants began chanting harsh anti-government slogans.

After the ceremony ended at approximately 5:15 p.m., a group of about 100 mourners separated from the main crowd, entered the city, and in the vicinity of Shahid Beheshti Square in Malekshahi vandalized three banks, setting fire to documents and equipment inside them.

Police forces called on the rioters to disperse, but some of them began firing toward the police.

Preliminary assessments indicate that several police officers were injured and one individual was killed in these incidents.

Some sources reported the presence of members of terrorist groups in today`s unrest.

At present, gunfire in the city has stopped, and police efforts to arrest the rioters are continuing.

Death of an Ilam Province Police Officer in Armed Clashes in Malekshahi

Third Lieutenant Ehsan Aghajani, a member of the Ilam Province police force, was seriously injured earlier today after being directly shot by rioters in Malekshahi County.

The officer, who sustained severe injuries to the chest as a result of direct gunfire while on duty, succumbed to his wounds despite continuous efforts by medical staff.

During the same armed clash, three other police officers were injured at the scene and transferred to medical centers.
