Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said it is deeply shocked by the horrific condition of Palestinian bodies handed over by the Israeli army after being detained during the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

An international human rights organization has expressed deep shock over the horrific condition of Palestinian bodies handed over by the Israeli army following the ceasefire in Gaza.

Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor reported on Thursday that the bodies prove that many of the victims were subjected to deliberate and brutal torture and abuse that caused extreme suffering.

Euro-med added that the bodies delivered by Israel also show that several of them have been executed after detention, which is a grave violation of international law.

It said the condition of the returned bodies clearly demonstrates that Israel treated Palestinian prisoners and detainees outside any legal or humanitarian framework.

Dr. Munir Al-Bursh, Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, said: "The bodies we received were bound like animals, blindfolded, and bore horrific signs of torture and burns that reveal the extent of the crimes committed in secret. They did not die naturally; they were executed after being restrained. These people were not buried underground; they were kept in the occupation`s refrigerators for long months."

A forensic doctor confirmed that 120 bodies were received, only six of which have been identified.

He described the condition of most of the remains as catastrophic, citing numerous examples of torture and execution among detainees.

The doctor said, "I have never seen such scenes before, even after years of experience in this field."

The rights organization said the regime is behaving as a power unrestrained by international law.

Euro-med stressed that Israeli forces carry out killings and torture without accountability, which reflect a mindset of revenge and extermination rather than adherence to law and order.

The monitor called for an urgent and independent international investigation to uncover the circumstances of these crimes and hold perpetrators accountable.

The organization also called for immediate and unconditional access for forensic and criminal investigation teams-with the necessary equipment-to assist in recovering victims` bodies from beneath the rubble and identifying the missing.

Euro-Med`s appeal comes amid growing international calls for transparency and justice following the ceasefire, with human rights groups warning that without independent access, Israel could once again manipulate narratives and evade accountability.

Humanitarian groups reiterate that documenting war crimes and the full scale of destruction in Gaza is essential not only for justice but also for any credible reconstruction and peace process to take shape.

This comes amid growing unease among Arab countries that helped broker the October 13 ceasefire in Egypt, as Israel`s long record of violating truces and its lack of credibility as a peace partner cast doubt on the deal`s durability.

According to a report by Bloomberg, officials across the region have expressed major concerns about the reliability of the Israeli regime and the absence of concrete mechanisms to enforce the deal`s terms.
