The National Unity Government (NUG) led by President Ashraf Ghani and CEO Abdullah Abdullah finally announced the much-awaited list of minister-designates and the nominees for NDS and the Central Bank of Afghanistan.

The announcement came on Monday after 105 days of NUG, a long delay which followed huge criticisms from the Parliament and civil society groups.

This comes as Ghani after taking oath as the new president on Sept. 29, promised during his maiden speech to form the cabinet within 45 days.
