French police end a day of fresh search for the body of 9-year-old missing girl, Estelle Mouzin, the alleged victim of French serial killer Michel Fourniret, in the Ardennes, in northeastern France.

Mouzin disappeared 18 years ago and was subsequently murdered. Fourniret, who died in May at the age of 79, confessed to her murder in 2020.

Fourniret, dubbed the Monster of the Ardennes, confessed to killing a total of 11 people, taking his final secrets to the grave and denying families of victims long-awaited justice.
