Tottenham Hotspur�s Eric Dier has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association over a fan confrontation after his side�s defeat against Norwich City in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

The England international climbed over seats following Tottenham�s defeat on penalties last month, and appeared to get into a physical confrontation with supporters before he was restrained by security guards.

The FA released a statement saying that Dier is charged with breaching an FA rule, but as the charge is non-standard, there will be no potential suspension.

The FA branded Dier�s behavior at the end of the match, as both improper and threatening, and stated that he has until the 8th of May to respond to the charge.
